“This is not just about a bike ride. The fact that we are sharing a planet where someone gets maimed or killed every 20 minutes simply by walking out their front door, just doesn’t sit right with me. By turning a blind eye, I would be acknowledging that I do not value my freedom. It will be a challenging ride, but if leaving my comfort zone for a few days is what it’s going to take to help and get people to take notice, then that is what I am willing to do.” ~Annette

"Having just recently returned from Vietnam, I had the opportunity to teach employed MAG landmine clearance medics first hand. It was a life-changing and an eye-opening experience, learning about the devastation left behind by landmines and listening to the horrific stories told by locals about what innocent people must endure everyday. If I can save just one person from a landmine  by cycling 500 kilometers, I have done my part. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity I do not want to let pass by and I can’t wait for the peddling to begin.” ~Julie
